Join us for a talk on the British imposition of colonial rule on Uganda and its impacts on the region and the rest of Africa to this day.
We usually cover the who, what, when, where and how in an Act4Africa presentation. But a good addendum would be to cover the “why”? Why is it that arguably the world’s richest continent – in terms of natural resources – has some of the world’s poorest people? Why are we asking for your help? Why do we need help at all?
And to answer that, we need to consider the history of Africa and the impact of past events on present realities.
