Hive Colab is excited to present the Founder’s Day Café, a monthly event that brings together founders, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, industry professionals and the wider startup and digital community for engaging discussions, networking, and knowledge sharing. The event aims to create a platform for founders to share their journeys, insights, and expertise, fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda.

Objectives:

Provide a space for founders to share their entrepreneurial experiences, challenges, and successes.

Facilitate knowledge exchange and learning among attendees.

Inspire aspiring entrepreneurs by showcasing real-life stories of successful founders.

Foster networking opportunities for founders, tech enthusiasts, and industry professionals.

Strengthen the entrepreneurial community in Uganda by promoting collaboration and mentorship.

Event Format and Details:

Frequency: The Founder’s Day Café will be held once a month, Typically it will mostly be held on the Friday just before or just after mid-month day.

Venue: The event will be hosted at the premises of Hive Colab, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for discussions and networking.

Duration: The event will typically last for a couple of hours (Usually 2-3 hours accommodating), allowing ample time for the discussion, Q&A, and networking session.

Discussion Topic: Each event will feature a prominent founder who will share insights and expertise on a specific topic related to their entrepreneurial journey.

Light Refreshments: Attendees will have access to light refreshments, creating a relaxed atmosphere for networking and informal conversations.
