
Police wants EC to clarify on disruption of campaigns caution
Ochola told the EC that neither the candidates’ names nor the dates, and other necessary particulars of the alleged disruption were mentioned in his letter to enable them respond to the allegations.

Police have written to the Electoral Commission asking for details on claims that it disrupted some of the Presidential Candidates campaign programmes.
In a letter by the Inspector General of Police John Martins Okoth Ochola to the EC written on November 27, 2020; he says, “Reference is made to your letter dated November 26, 2020; in which you informed me that the Electoral Commission is in receipt of complaints from some Presidential Candidates and has also read press reports alleging police disruption of candidates scheduled meetings.”
