The Sheraton Kampala is an all-in-one hotel as it has everything you need. Arriving very early in the morning I was impressed to see how friendly and welcoming the staff were at that time of the day. This was also a reflection of the staff throughout our stay.
My room was beautiful, spacious and had everything I needed. I also had an excellent view of the gardens below as well as Kampala in the distance. The hotel has a mini-café in the reception area with a pianist playing on most nights, the Equator Bar (which I have reviewed separately) as well as a restaurant, so most of your dining needs are catered for. We had breakfast (hot & cold buffet style) as well as dinner at the restaurant and all the food was very tasty. It can get very hot in Kampala so it is good to know that they have a big pool with a life guard on duty. At the pool area there are also some pool tables and table tennis tables as well as a bar, so it is the perfect place to relax and blow off some steam. They even have a modern gym as well as some shops inside the hotel. Overall I had a great experience there, except for the one evening when they had a live band at the hotel which was very loud. Luckily the music didn’t keep on playing too late into the evening. If you are looking for a place to stay in Kampala, give the Sheraton a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the most amazing stay at the MAYA Suites. The staff was absolutely amazing. I stayed here for weekend just to enjoy a couple getaway. Rooms were just try it! I will only stay at the MAYA Suites in NY moving forward! Thank you for making my tour special.
